The WhatsApp data adapter reads orders from a configured Shopify store. Managed app connections and manually supplied merchant credentials are separate paths; configure the intended owner’s store rather than relying on another workspace’s connection.
A successful credential test reads the shop record. It does not prove a matching customer order, template mapping, webhook delivery or WhatsApp send. Use the tracking page for customer-requested status and the notification page for store events.
The app webhook receiver verifies Shopify HMAC before accepting supported events. A worker processes those events for the store mirror and notification queue. The generic inbound receiver is a different endpoint and must not be described as having the same HMAC checks.
Cart reminders need a supplied checkout event and link. The dedicated cart worker’s template, consent and window checks have not been established. Do not activate it as an unrestricted proactive messaging sequence. No automatic refunds, address changes or store write operations are promised.
