Connect WooCommerce to WhatsApp

Generate a read-only WooCommerce REST key, paste it into Repli, and your WhatsApp replies, campaigns and reminders can use the real order behind a phone number instead of whatever was in last week's spreadsheet.

Why teams choose Repli

What you get

Generate a read key in WooCommerce

WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key, permissions set to Read. Copy the consumer key and secret — WordPress shows them only once.

Paste and test

Enter your store URL with the key and secret in Repli and press Save and test, so a wrong URL or a blocked REST route is caught straight away.

Live order answers

The AI support agent looks up the order while the conversation is open and reports the real status, items and total.

Blanks filled from order fields

Map each template blank to an order field — number, status, total, currency, city, tracking number — and every contact gets their own values.

Timed follow-ups

Wait a set time after an order event, check the current state, and only then send. Nobody gets a reminder for something already handled.

Keys never reach the browser

Credentials are stored in the backend and used only by the functions that call your store.

Handover to a person

Anything the agent cannot answer from real data is passed to your team with the conversation intact.

No plugin to install

The built-in WooCommerce REST API is all that is needed — no extra plugin, no theme change, no code on your site.

Use cases

"Where is my order?"

The most common WhatsApp question on any Woo store, answered without a human.

Payment and COD confirmation

Confirm the payment state before dispatch, and ask for a COD confirmation reply.

Delivery updates

Send the tracking link when the order status changes to shipped.

Repeat purchase nudges

Reach past buyers with an approved template built from their last order.

Support triage

Route order-related chats to the right person with the order already on screen.

A read-only key is the whole setup

WooCommerce already exposes a REST API, so there is nothing to install. A key with Read permission lets Repli fetch an order and nothing else — the safest possible level of access for a messaging tool.

If you ever want to revoke it, delete the key in WooCommerce and the connection stops working immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Which WooCommerce permissions do I need?

Read. Repli only reads orders and customer records; it never writes to your store.

Where do I create the key?

In WordPress: WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key. Set permissions to Read and generate. Copy both values immediately — they are shown once.

Does my store need HTTPS?

Yes. The WooCommerce REST API requires HTTPS for key authentication, and Repli will not send credentials over an unencrypted connection.

My store is behind a firewall or security plugin. Will it work?

It works as long as the /wp-json/wc/v3 routes are reachable from the internet. Some security plugins block them by default and need an allow rule.

Can I connect WooCommerce and Shopify together?

Yes. Each connection is separate and can be enabled or disabled on its own.

Do I need approved templates?

Yes, for business-initiated messages. Replies inside an open 24-hour window do not need one.

Is customer data copied anywhere?

No. Orders are fetched when needed for a reply or a message rather than mirrored into a separate database.

What does it cost?

Repli has a free plan to start. Pro is ₹499/mo and Pro+ is ₹1,499/mo; Business plans are priced on request. WhatsApp charges its own conversation fees, billed by Meta to your WhatsApp Business account.
